ECI Software Solutions Acquires Amper Technologies, to Help Increase AI-Driven Operational Efficiency

ECI Software Solutions, a provider of artificial-intelligence (AI)-powered, cloud-based business-management software, has acquired Amper Technologies, Inc., which develops manufacturing execution system (MES) software that gives factories real-time visibility into their shop floors. The Amper FactoryOS MES platform reportedly combines fast deployment with real-time machine, job and labor insights to close the gap between ERP planning and production. The system connects to any machine on the shop floor, identifying bottlenecks and using AI-driven insights to guide decision-making. With the MES now part of ECI’s portfolio, manufacturers gain the missing link between planning and execution, creating a seamless workflow and predictable production experience.
