Tooling Tech Group Appoints Edwards Director of Operations

Tooling Tech Group (TTG), a provider of highly engineered tools and automated assembly equipment, has appointed Matthew Edwards as director of operations. In this role, he will oversee the day-to-day activities of the organization, collaborating with all TTG divisions and departments to streamline processes and achieve organizational goals.  

Edwards has spent 30 yr. in a variety of automotive-manufacturing positions, and holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Aerospace Engineering as well as a master’s in Engineering in Manufacturing Systems, all from the University of Michigan. He also holds three U.S. patents. 

“Matt’s leadership abilities and business acumen have yielded excellent results at his previous OEM and Tier One endeavors,” says Lee Childers, TTG CEO. “We look forward to him to applying his skills, such as lean manufacturing, cost performance, strategic capacity planning, Total Quality Management and more, to enhance our performance at TTG.”
