As noted in a recent Thomas Index Report, the International Federation of Robotics reports that the number of robots installed in the United States grew from 176 units/10,000 employees in 2015 to 255 units/10,000 employees in 2020. Also, a recent Forbes, Xometry and Zogby poll reveals that 47 percent of CEOs from 150 leading U.S. companies currently are investing in robotics.

Lastly, according to the report the global cobot market is expected to expand from $1.1 billion in 2022 to $9.2 billion by 2028, also driving sales of sensors and feedback equipment used to guide cobot motion, as opposed to the rigidly programmed subroutines of traditional robotic equipment.
