Aida’s BEX Series of Presses Awarded 2024 Ten Greatest New Products

Aida-America announced that Aida Engineering Ltd., its parent company in Japan, has received the annual Ten Greatest New Products Award from the daily newspaper Nikkan Kogyo Shimbun, for its BEX Series metal separator forming presses. The presses are designed to stamp bipolar plates being used in vehicle hydrogen fuel cells and electrolyzers. Among
the unique press features that enable separator forming: a one-point design engineered
to accommodate centrally concentrated forming loads, and a high-rigidity frame
to enable precision channel forming in the center of the press.
