Fagor Arrasate to Supply Automated Slitting Line to SSAB

Fagor Arrasate announced plans to supply a fully automated slitting line, designed for ultra-high-strength steels, to SSAB. With a maximum operating speed of 150 m/min, the line can process steels rated to a yield strength of 1500 N/mm2, with sheet thickness to 6 mm and coil width to 1550 mm. Quick-change cutting tools and automated separator positioning help to shorten machine setup times and reduce manual operations, improving ergonomics and operator safety.
