Dallas Industries Expands, Doubles Manufacturing Space
July 28, 2021Comments
Dallas Industries, Troy, MI, a manufacturer of press feeding equipment and controls, has added nearly 24,000 sq. ft. to its manufacturing space with the addition of a new facility across the street from its headquarters facility. The move essentially doubles the company’s manufacturing space and allows for greater flexibility of its fabricating and machining footprint.
The new facility will house new equipment, including high-volume lathes and grinding machines, as well as Dallas’ engineering department, and provide a unique manufacturing facility with both a high-bay to handle large press feed lines and low-bay for a paint booth, machining and fabricating operations. This space will further enhance its capabilities as a full service, quick response source, from design assist and validation through manufacturing support.
Says CEO Willie Chacko, “This expansion is pivotal to boost our company’s capabilities along with providing our customers with access to the best and latest technologies in press feed equipment. It also is an expression of the recent growth of our company.”
Adds president Joe Gentilia, “Our processes are changing at a rapid pace to keep up with market demands and global competition. This expansion and subsequent investment in manufacturing technologies is necessary to meet these needs, now and in the future.”
