Safeguarding System for Hydraulic Press Brakes Omron STI

Omron STI, Fremont, CA, highlights its LazerSafe safeguarding system for hydraulic press brakes. LazerSafe not only maximizes operator safety, but, according to company officials, can actually improve productivity by allowing the operator to safely stay close to the workpiece, even as the ram closes at high speeds. Testing has shown an increase in productivity of as much as 27 percent as compared to traditional safety light curtains in certain hydraulic-press-brake applications.
