Matching Employers to Veterans and National Guard Members
Watch a free 18-min. webinar and download a one-page flier to learn all about an initiative from the North Carolina National Guard (NCNG) to help match veterans and National Guard members to employers with job openings. The webinar was developed by the American Jobs for America’s Heroes campaign, of which PMA is a supporter. Watch as NCNG Brigadier General Kenneth Beard, who in civilian life is a senior manager of research and development with a global company, explains how NCNG prepares veterans for civilian employment. He also describes the “direct placement process” used by NCNG and nonprofit allies to build effective relationships with employers and streamline hiring.

Here’s the accompanying informational flier.
