The International Trade Club of Chicago (ITCC) and the Tooling & Manufacturing Association (TMA) have combined to launch a five-part seminar series designed to help U.S. manufacturing and tooling companies compete in the global marketplace. The series, titled Discover the Keys to Competitive Manufacturing, runs October 7 and 21, November 4 and 18, and December 2, 2003. It will be held at the TMA conference center in Park Ridge, IL. SME to Hold Automation & Assembly Summit

Hennig Opens Repair Center
for Machine-Protection Products

Hennig, Inc., Machesney Park, IL, has opened the Oklahoma Regional Repair Center for machine-protection products. The new center is located in Chandler. It offers refurbishing and repair of machine covers. Services include straightening of cover boxes, way-guide replacement, side brass-guide replacement, wiper and v-guide replacement, roller replacement, and polishing, assembly and inspection.
