The state of Chihuahua has produced a video titled, “Chihuahua—the Logical Choice Leader of Industrial Mexico.” The video describes Chihuahua’s abundant supply of skilled workers, its near-shore location, modern infrastructure and developments in education and technology. Chihuahua is home to more than 400 manufacturing companies, 30 state-of-the-art industrial parks and nine international-border crossing points with Texas and New Mexico. It’s also home to 65 vocational-technical institutions and 59 universities, as well as several research-and-development centers, including the Research Center of Advanced Materials and the High Technology Training Center. Along with manufacturers serving the automotive, electronics, telecommunications, agricultural and furniture industries, the state is rapidly emerging into aerospace, household appliances, biotechnology and IT industries.
