Esab Opens New Welding-Automation Showroom

An appearance by South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, along with a couple of state senators, highlighted the recent opening of a new 5000-sq.-ft. showroom at the Florence, SC facility of Esab Welding and Cutting Products. The showroom includes a demonstration area, training room and meeting facilities, all focused on the firm’s welding-automation products. Products on display include side-beam welders, welding gantries, robotic-welding systems and a fully functional hybrid laser/arc-welding system. More at www.esabna.com.

Inc. magazine’s most recent exclusive ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies includes full-service metalforming company Waukesha Metal Products, Sussex, WI. The 109-employee firm, which boasts of a 3-yr. growth of 61 percent (revenue of $14.8 million in 2007 and $23.8 million in 2010), placed 3197 overall and 110 among manufacturing companies.
