Trans-Matic, Holland, MI, a PMA member and manufacturer of deep-drawn parts and assemblies, has selected NaView as its as its advanced planning, scheduling and execution system.
NaView, from RSS Solutions Inc., Kitchener-Waterloo, Ontario, Canada, “is a very flexible and mature product with the capability to do both forward and backward scheduling at the same time on an order-by-order basis,” says Michael Kroll, director of information technology and communications for Trans-Matic. “We must coordinate 4000 open orders for the tool room and needed a scheduling solution to manage the complexity of our unique environment. NaView will allow us to easily see the impact that incoming jobs will have on other jobs in the schedule. We will be able to make decisions based on accurate data, which will help us boost throughput and improve on-time delivery.”
