Trumpf to Construct New Laser Facility

Trumpf Inc. will construct a new laser facility on its campus in Farmington, CT, to consolidate local research and development, manufacturing, assembly, testing and sales. The project doubles the firm’s current space allocated for laser research and for manufacturing of gas and solid-state laser resonators. Site preparation and building should begin in November of this year, to be completed in 12 to 14 months.
