The Coalition for the Advancement of Michigan Tooling Industries (CAMTI) will sponsor a town hall forum on Tuesday, August 27, 1:00, at the Michigan State University Club in Lansing, MI. Bradbury Group Grows by One

The Bradbury Group (Moundridge, KS) of companies has a new member, Beck Automation. Headed by president Joe Beck, the company designs state-of-the-art controls for the rollforming industry, for new equipment and retrofits. Located in St. Louis, Beck Automation joins other Bradbury Group companies that manufacture custom and turnkey rollforming, leveling and automated production systems.
Trumpf Forms Laser-Diode Company

The Trumpf Group has established Trumpf Photonics Inc., located just outside Princeton, NJ. The subsidiary is dedicated to the development and manufacture of high-power laser diodes. Peter Leibinger, chairman and CEO of Trumpf Inc., Farmington, CT., will serve as president of Trumpf Photonics, which was formed through the acquisition of the production facilities and relevant patent portfolio of Princeton Lightwave. The new company has 20 employees, including a number of former Princeton Lightwave staff.
