Motoman Enhances Online E-Commerce Site

Robotics company Motoman Inc., West Carrollton, OH, has updated and enhanced its online Customer Care Center, accessible at www.motoman.com. The center offers e-commerce functions, product information and more, allowing customers to place orders for spare parts, software and manuals. The site also features tracking of spare-parts delivery and other order-status information. Customers also can register for training classes at the Motoman Technical Education Center or for the company’s web-based training.

Software Developer FTI Adds Asian Distributors

Engineering Computer Services will handle sales and support of FTI sheetmetal-component design, simulation and costing software via several locations in Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and China. Perforated-Metal Maker Buys Midwest Fabricator

Hendrick Manufacturing, Memphis, TN, a manufacturer of perforated metal products and wire screens, has purchased Hagen Metal Products Co., Elgin, IL, a precision sheetmetal fabricator. Hagen will operate using its existing name as a related company under the Hendrick Midwest, LCC banner. Existing management has been retained, with Bruce Caldwell, formerly Hendrick supply chain manager taking over as Hagen general manager. While concentrating on its existing business, Hagen will expand into manufacturing of perforated metal products to serve a growing customer base in the Midwest, according to Hendrick officials.
