NTC America Consolidates Machine-Tool Business

As of July 1, 2011, NTC America Corp., Novi, MI, now handles all machine-tool products, such as crankshaft mills, which previously had been handled by its parent company Komatsu America Industries. The consolidation follows the April 2011 merger of Komatsu NTC Ltd. and Komatsu Machinery Corp. Ace Metal Crafts Moves to New Digs

An 82,000-sq.-ft. plant in Bensenville, IL, is the new home of Ace Metal Crafts, specialists in stainless-steel fabrication. The firm provides laser cutting, forming, welding, sanitary finishes and value engineering. It has stocked the new, larger plant with plenty of new equipment, including a third laser-cutting machine and a nitrogen-generating system to support its laser-processing operations, as well as additional welding equipment that boosts capacity by 30 percent.
