Sim-Software Provider Opens Southern Sales Office

Engineering Technology Associates (ETA), developer of sheetmetal forming simulation software, has opened a new office in Lawrenceburg, TN, to service the southern region of the United States. The office is led by Randy Purcell, a stamping-industry veteran. Products from ETA, headquartered in Troy, MI, include DynaForm, a software package for simulation of sheetmetal forming, and VPG (Virtual Proving Ground), for development of finite-element models. Rockford Systems, Rockford, IL, has updated, including additions to the seminar, catalog and online-shopping sections. The seminar section details the company’s Machine Safeguarding Seminar and provides for online registration. The catalog section allows visitors to view all of Rockford Systems’ product catalogs or click the Contact Us button to request printed versions. Interlaken Building Hydroforming,
Warm Forming Prototype Facility

Interlaken Technology Corp., Chaska, MN, has started construction on a new hydroforming and warm forming development and prototyping facility in Chaska. The facility, to be completed this fall, will include a 2000-ton hydroforming system, a hot-oil warm forming system and a hot-gas warm forming system. Supporting this development and its prototyping equipment will be a number of experienced hydroforming and warm-forming engineers, according to Interlaken officials. They will assist customers with concept consulting, product design, materials selection, part conversion to hydroforming/warm forming from other processes, finite-element simulation, tooling design, and prototyping and development.
