Accurate Die Design, New Berlin, WI, has created a 59-min. video demonstrating the creation of a 24-station strip layout for a complex box-terminal stamping.
The video, posted to the company’s website, offers instruction on using die-design software for overbend and springback, and relaxed springback. It’s divided into eight smaller videos, each less than 8 min. long.

AP&T Takes on Press Service in Sweden

For the first time, Swedish press and automation-equipment builder AP&T (with North American headquarters in Monroe, NC) has taken on all of the service needs for a customer’s mechanical and hydraulic presses. The firm announced its first all-inclusive service agreement with Swenox AB, a Swedish manufacturer of automotive parts. AP&T, which previously had established service agreements for mechanical presses, now has overall responsibility for all of presses at Swenox—10 hydraulic models and 17 mechanical. More at
