Michael Purchase has been appointed president of Anchor Lamina America, Inc., Farmington Hills, MI. He’ll oversee U.S. and China operations. Purchase previously served as president of Kaydon Corp.’s specialty products group. Anchor Lamina manufactures tool, die and mold components;

Metal stamper and fabricator Tella Tool & Manufacturing Co. hired James “Cliff” Stephens as a process engineer at its facility in Lombard, IL. He’ll lead new-product launches and lean-manufacturing and continuous-improvement activities at the plant. Tella Tool also operates a facility in Brownsville, TX;

The Nickel Institute appointed David Butler executive director and general counsel. He’ll work from the institute’s office in Toronto, Ontario, Canada;

Lubrizol Opens China Plant to Support Lube Production in Asia

Zhuhai, Guangdong, China is home to a new Lubrizol Corp. additives-manufacturing facility, called the “cornerstone” of the firm’s 10-yr. plan launched in 2010 to upgrade operations and increase global capacity.
