Tooling and Manfuacturing Show Slated for Dayton

The Dayton Tooling & Manfuacturing Association (DTMA), Dayton, OH, will host its annual Advanced Manfuacturing & Technology Show (AMTS) October 24-25 at the Dayton Airport Expo Center. More than 130 exhibitors representing 225 manufacturers will participate in the show, featuring the latest in tooling, automated machinery, fabricating equipment and robotics. AMTS 2007 also serves as the venue for the region’s second annual BotsIQ competition, featuring battling robots designed and constructed by students from local high schools and colleges. Ohio Governor Ted Strickland recently recognized 31 Ohio businesses for outstanding contributions to exporting with the 2007 Governor’s Excellence in Exporting Award.
