Precision Strip, Inc., Minster OH, a privately held metals-processing company, has been acquired by Reliance Steel & Aluminum Co., Los Angeles, CA, operator of 107 metals-processing and distribution centers in 29 states and in Belgium, France and South Korea. Precision Strip has Ohio facilities in Minster, Kenton, Middletown and Tipp City; Indiana facilities in Anderson and Rockport; and facilities in Bowling Green, KY, and Talladega, AL.
Chicago Slitter Installs Line at Hudson Steel

Chicago Slitter, Itasca, IL, has installed a steel-slitting system at Hudson Steel, Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. The 72-in. 50,000-lb.-capacity line can process materials to 0.187 in. thick and allows Hudson to process and distribute a variety of carbon steels.
