Batesville Tool & Die Invests
in Web-Based Operations-Management Tool

Plexus Systems, Inc., Auburn Hills, MI, will help Batesville Tool & Die, Inc. manage its stamping operations at its plants in Batesville, IN, and Queretaro, Mexico. The Plexus Online ( collection of more than 350 functional modules will integrate Batesville’s administrative, engineering and production operations. The system is accessible through a web browser and allows users to link to their business data and track operations. It supports lean activities such as Kanban scheduling, pull systems and Kaizen. Batesville Tool & Die provides stampings and welded assemblies with presses to 1200 tons, primarily for the automotive market.
