Interlaken Building Hydroforming,
Warm Forming Prototype Facility

Interlaken Technology Corp., Chaska, MN, has started construction on a new hydroforming and warm forming development and prototyping facility in Chaska. The facility, to be completed this fall, will include a 2000-ton hydroforming system, a hot-oil warm forming system and a hot-gas warm forming system. Supporting this development and its prototyping equipment will be a number of experienced hydroforming and warm-forming engineers, according to Interlaken officials. They will assist customers with concept consulting, product design, materials selection, part conversion to hydroforming/warm forming from other processes, finite-element simulation, tooling design, and prototyping and development. Trumpf Awards Distributors

Fabricating Machine Tools, Ltd., Cleveland, OH, earned the Outstanding Distributor Performance award, recognizing exceptional performance in selling Trumpf products during the past fiscal year. The Sustained Excellence award was presented to Advanced Fabricating Machinery, Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, in recognition of its consistent performance in selling Trumpf products.
