Coil Processing Seminar in St. Louis

Red Bud Industries Tech Support will host a coil-processing seminar at the Sheraton St. Louis City Center Hotel & Suites in St. Louis, MO, on September 20, 2005. The workshop, directed toward service-center personnel, covers a host of topics including: close-tolerance blanking and multi-blanking; the geometry of shape variations; taking the magic out of metal slitting; and advances in processing equipment.
Featured speakers will include coil-processing experts Eric Theis and Harold Kerns. The seminar will conclude with a tour of toll processor The Material Works and an optional tour of Red Bud Industries.

Buhrke Industries Earns Quality Award from Takata

Inflation System Inc. (ISI), an affiliate of Takata Global Group, has recognized Buhrke Industries, Arlington Heights, IL, with its Quality First Award. The award recognizes Buhrke for its achievement in quality improvement.
Buhrke, a progressive-die stamper, has delivered more than 56 million parts to ISI Takata over the past year while maintaining a performance level of 3 ppm.
