Kramski North America, Inc., Largo, FL, has ordered a new Bruderer Model BSTA 60USL high-speed stamping press, scheduled for delivery before year end. Kramski manufactures precision stamped, molded and insert-molded products for the automotive, medical and telecommunications industries, and claims an external defect scrap rate for the first half of 2004 of 35 ppm. Elrae Upgrades to ISO 9001:2000

Elrae Industries, Inc., Alden, NY, a producer of stamped and rollformed components, custom assemblies and retail-ready products, has upgraded its quality-system certification to the ISO 9001:2000 standard. It had been previously certified to the 1997 edition of QS 9000 and ISO 9002 standards.

Linpac Materials Handling, manufacturer of Ropak reusable molded-plastic containers, has been registered to ISO 9001:2000. The registration applies to the firm’s design and manufacturing location in Georgetown, KY, and to its manufacturing facility in Bardstown, KY.
