Morgal Adds New Feeder-Straightener

Feed Lease Corp., Rochester Hills, MI, has sold a new servo-feed pull-through straightener combination unit to Morgal Machine Co. for installation at its newly opened stamping plant, S.C. Metal Products LC, in Aiken, SC. The unit, rated for steel to 0.140-in. thick and 42-in. wide, will feed and straighten flat blanks used for making V-grooved pulleys. The servo control includes a four-function two-button remote pendant for jog-to-length in fast and slow speed modes, and stores 200 job recipes.
Roll-Kraft Boosts CNC Machining Capabilities

To increase its capacity to produce tooling or the tube and pipe and rollforming industries, Roll-Kraft, Mentor, OH, has installed two new CNC lathes in its manufacturing plant, and will install a third vertical lathe by year end. This third machine is a space-saving side-by-side turning center that the firm can use to rough-out parts on one side and finish-machine on the opposite side. Learn more at

Expanded Metal Manufacturers to Hold Fall Conference

The Expanded Metals Manufacturers Association (EMMA), Chicago, IL, will hold its Fall Conference at The Wyndham Chicago, October 22-24, 2005. EMMA is a division of The National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers. Its members manufacture expanded metal products (from micro mesh to grating) from sheetmetal that is slit and stretched to create uniform openings through which air, fluid or light travel.
