Of the 500 buyers of manufacturing services that participated in the July MfgOutlook Survey, sponsored by MfgQuote, Atlanta, GA, 58 percent expect to spend more in August on manufacturing services than they spent in July. Among other details from the survey, 50 percent of the respondents list quality as the leading purchasing influence, followed by price (45 percent), while location scored as least important. The press, built specifically for the customer’s range of tools, offers a 24-in. stroke, a compact 24- by 24-in. bolster footprint and a 0-20-ton bed cushion with 6-in. stroke.
