Rome Tool & Die Expands Coil-Handling Capabilities

GSW Press Automation, El Segundo, CA, has sold a heavy-duty servo-feed line to Rome Tool & Die, Rome, GA. The cradle-straightener-feeder combination unit handles coils as large as 72-in. dia. and 17,600 lb., to support production on an 800-ton press. The unit will feed high-strength steel strip as wide as 20 in. and up to ½ in. thick.
Bradbury Expands Trim-Shop Machinery Plant

The Bradbury Co., Inc., Moundridge, KS, a manufacturer of rollforming and coil-handling equipment, has opened a new plant for producing trim-shop machinery. The 22,000-sq.-ft. plant will produce uncoilers and recoilers, the firm’s Long Folders (which produce open-hem, closed-hem and teardrop folds in sheetmetal), slitter/shears, oilers, stand-alone hemmers and portable rollforming equipment.
