The Precision Metalforming Association (PMA) has launched
www.metalform.com, offering a host of services to those interested in PMA’s METALFORM’03 tradeshow. The show, showcasing the latest in punching, forming, cutting and value-added technology, is scheduled for March 23-26, at Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, Rosemont, IL.
METALFORM’03 features stamping and turret presses, welding and assembly equipment, press brakes, lasers, rollforming and spinning machines, coil-handling equipment and feeds, automation, finishing, tool and die, machining and more.

Pro-Eco Installs Coil-Processing Lines in Mexico

Pro-Eco Ltd., Oakville, Ontario, Canada, has installed and commissioned new cut-to-length, slitting and coil-strapping lines at Steel Technologies, Matamoros, Mexico.
The cut-to-length line can process coils to 72 in. wide and weighing to 70,000 lb. The 19-roll Kor-Flex slitting line can process similar material and features a three-position Injecta-Head slitter arrangement, scrap choppers and entry/exit crop shears. The strapping line packages slit material to 72 in. wide and weighing to 20,000 lb. This line features a pick-and-place downender, semi-automatic banding head and a three-position stacked coil shutter car.
