Pro-Eco Installs Coil-Processing Lines in Mexico

Pro-Eco Ltd., Oakville, Ontario, Canada, has installed and commissioned new cut-to-length, slitting and coil-strapping lines at Steel Technologies, Matamoros, Mexico. The cut-to-length line can process coils to 72 in. wide and weighing to 70,000 lb. The 19-roll Kor-Flex slitting line can process similar material and features a three-position Injecta-Head slitter arrangement, scrap choppers and entry/exit crop shears. The strapping line packages slit material to 72 in. wide and weighing to 20,000 lb. This line features a pick-and-place downender, semi-automatic banding head and a three-position stacked coil shutter car.
