New Laser-Cutting Machine
Monday, July 26, 2010
Beginning in September, 2010, Eckmann Custom Products, Racine, WI, a provider of stamped and deep-drawn metal parts and spin-form pulleys, will add a 4400-W laser-cutting machine to its stable. The machine, a Bystronic BySprint Pro 3015 model, will be able to cut aluminum to 1/2-in. thick and steel to ¾ in. Eckmann will use the machine for prototype development and for short-run production, to eliminate the need, in many cases, for blanking dies. More at
