Mayfran to be Acquired by Japanese Manufacturer

Cleveland, OH-based Mayfran International will soon be acquired by Tsubakimoto Chain Co. , Osaka, Japan, a manufacturer of industrial chains and power-transmission products. Mayfran manufactures engineered solutions for scrap and coolant management, and material-handling systems for metalworking and other applications; www.mayfran.com. Victor Technologies Acquires CNC-Controller Manufacturer

Robotronic Oy, the parent company of shape-cutting controller manufacturer ProMotion Controls, Inc., has been acquired by Victor Technologies, St. Louis, MO. ProMotion, Medina, OH, also supplies nesting software, torch-height controls and associated products for cutting systems employing plasma, oxyfuel, laser, waterjet and router technology.
