For the first quarter of 2004, shipments of Workholding equipment for the United States ticked up 12.3 percent from the previous year, according to the Workholding Products Group (WPG) of AMT—The Association For Manufacturing Technology. Regionally, the Midwest was the largest destination source.
WPG members manufacture chucks, jaws, collets, vises, fixtures and other Workholding equipment.
