Ridgeview Industries Inc., Grand Rapids, MI, announced plans to expand its metalforming plant in Huntsville, AL, to accommodate growth in its metal-stamping and assembly business. The 110,000-sq.-ft. expansion is scheduled for completion by mid-2009. The 25-acre location, purchased from Lindy Industries in 2004, has more than 75 employees;

It’s a Plasma-Cutting Road Show

Hypertherm, Hanover, NH, is taking its plasma-arc-cutting technology on the road with two new Mobile Cutting Centers. The mobile cutting centers will feature new power-supply technology as well as the integrated PowermaxEdge mechanized cutting system. The summer tour begins in Southern California at the Golden State Classic Auto Race, July 12-13.
