Rockford Toolcraft Adding On

Metalformer Rockford Toolcraft is in the midst of constructing the fourth addition to its Plant 2 facility, located on a 13.5-acre site in Rockford, IL. The new 40,625-sq.-ft. addition will bring the plant to a total of 190,625 sq. ft. The company will relocate its shipping and receiving departments to the addition, to clear space to expand its manufacturing capabilities. Rockford Toolcraft operates 50 heavy-gauge stamping presses up to 4400 tons, offers transfer and coil capacities to ½ in. thick by 60 in. wide, and runs a 50-person modern toolroom; www.rockfordtoolcraft.com

La Vergne, TN, is the home of Tottser-Iroquois Industries, a brand new metal-stamping facility that opened July 1 to serve the area’s automotive industry. The company, which expects to employ 25 people, is a joint venture between Iroquois Industries, Warren, MI, and Tottser Tool & Mfg., Philadelphia, PA. More at www.iroquoisind.com
