The assets of Impressive Stamping & Manufacturing Co., Fort Wayne, IN, have been purchased by Wayne Metals, LLC, Markle, IN. Impressive Stamping started in July 2001—company president Joe Elkins joins Wayne Metals as vice president of sales. Wayne Metals performs stamping, fabrication and finishing operations, including laser cutting, robotic welding and wet- and powder-coat finishing.
New Air-Press Builder on the Scene

Donald R. Koenig, former vice president of pneumatic-press builder Airam, Inc., has opened Koenair Precision Air Presses, Inc., Aiken, SC. The firm will manufacture four-post air-actuated presses rated 3 to 210 tons, and turnkey systems for rollforming. The firm also expects to sell tooling and spare parts for older four-post pneumatic presses.
