MachineTools.com Introduces Video Capability

Wednesday, June 27, 2007

MachineTools.com, a business-to-business online marketplace for the machine-tool industry, is now giving users the ability to upload and show videos of machines for sale. Sellers on the site can now post videos demonstrating machine-tool capabilities and features—the videos are loaded through YouTube.com and can be played directly on www.machinetools.com. In addition to standard photos typically accompanying each listing, the expansion into video offers users the chance to review machines in operation. A new section titled Videos lists all machines by date added, allowing users to view recently added machine videos and increasing accessibility. MachineTools.com has 100,000 registered users and more than 35,000 machine listings provided by more than 1000 sellers, and the site is viewable in Chinese and Spanish to facilitate international transactions.
