Genmak Steel Purchases
Second Red Bud Blanking Line

Genmak Steel LLC, Sharon, PA, has purchased a second high-speed Multi-Cut blanking line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL. The steel service center purchased the second line to process close-tolerance light-gauge blanks for production of very accurate parts as thick as 0.250 in. The 72-in.-wide line can process material to 0.250 in. thick and consists of a 60,000-lb.-capacity reel and coil lift, peeler breaker, combination backed-up straightener/corrective leveler, heavy-gauge servo grip feed, expandable arbor slitter, variable rake shear and a combination drop/strip/air-flotation stacker with powered discharge conveyors.
