The Fabtech/METALFORM Mexico exhibition, held last month in Mexico City along with AWS Weldmex, broke records for exhibition space and attendance for the fourth year in a row. Compared to the 2011 event, exhibit space jumped 32 percent to 67,900 sq. ft., and attendance rose by 33 percent to 10,452. The event is now the largest manufacturing show in Latin America. Among the attendees who witnessed displays from the event’s 315 exhibitors was the entire buying team from Caterpillar Mexico.
