Ford Motor Co. has awarded its Preferred Supplier status to the Nashville, TN, facility of Paulo Products Co., St. Louis, MO. Paulo, a supplier of heattreating services as well as brazing and metal-finishing processes, also operates facilities in Cleveland, OH, St. Louis and Kansas City, MO, and Murfreesboro, TN. The Expanded Metal Manufacturers Association (EMMA), Chicago, IL, will hold its Fall Conference at The Wyndham Hotel in Chicago, October 23-25, 2004. All North American expanded-metal manufacturers are invited to attend and learn about the activities of the group. EMMA, a division of The National Association of Architectural Metal Manufacturers, aims to promote the uses of expanded metal products with building professionals through the publication of technical information, new-product development and the sharing of industry information.
