Formtek Adds Press Brake/Shear Line

The Formtek Group of companies, Itasca, IL, has formed a new division--Elgin Fabrication Machinery--under its subsidiary FMI. Elgin imports press brakes and shears from a Formtek partner company in China. The exclusive distribution agreement includes the United States, Mexico, Central and South America. A full service department will work from South Elgin, IL, offering training, maintenance and spare parts.
FMI (Formtek Metalforming Integration) reconditions and rebuilds forming and fabricating and coiled-metal processing equipment. FMI shares its South Elgin facility with Axon Electric, Formtek’s electrical-controls distribution business. Axon will outfit the imported press brakes and shears with electronics and controls.
Tipco Unveils Revamped Website

Tipco Punch Inc., Hamilton, OH, has reconstructed its website,
www.tipcopunch.com to ease navigation and improve information access for users. It features the e-catalog, which lets users rapidly search Tipco’s punch-tooling and die-spring catalogs. The site also offers CAD files and a logic navigator for improved navigation.
