Waterjet-System Builder Expanding Operations

Flow International Corp., headquartered in Kent, WA, plans to spend more than $2.4 million in improvements and equipment to expand its operations in Jeffersonville, IN. The company makes ultrahigh-pressure waterjet-cleaning and abrasive-waterjet-cutting machines. The expansion follows the firm’s recent award of a multimillion-dollar contract from Airbus. New Jersey Stamper Wins OSHA Sharp Award

HK Metalcraft, Lodi, NJ, will receive the OSHA SHARP (Safety and Health Achievement Recognition Program) award on May 7, 2009. The award recognizes small employers who operate an exemplary safety and health management system. Upon receiving SHARP recognition, a worksite is exempt from programmed inspections during the period that the SHARP certification is valid.
