Chicago-Based Fabricator Acquires a Portion of Mayville Products Corp.
Custom metal fabricator Craftsman Custom Metals (CCM), Chicago, IL, has acquired the light-gauge metal business of Mayville Products; Mayville Products also manufactures enclosures. New Coil-to-Coil EPS Line on Displa
Attend an open house at Stripco Inc., Mishawaka, IN, June 18-25, to take a look at the firm’s new coil-to-coil EPS line. The line, from Red Bud Industries, handles coils to 60,000 lb. of material to 72 by 0.375 in. Oberg Earns AS9100 Registration
Oberg Industries, Freeport, PA, has been registered to AS9100 Rev. C, the aerospace-industry quality-management system, ahead of the July 1, 2012 deadline when all AS9100B certificates will be withdrawn. Among the objectives of the latest revision: incorporate ISO 9001:2008 changes, and expand the scope to include land- and sea-based systems for defense applications.
