The move from Sterling Heights, MI, to Cincinnati was made to better serve its customer base—Arku says that it is now 4 to 5 hr. from 80 percent of its customers. Cimatron Donates Software Seats to Michigan Program

To advance the CAD/CAM skills of high-school students in Michigan’s Oakland County Schools, software provider Cimatron Technologies Inc., Novi, MI, has donated 160 seats of its CAD/CAM software for use by the district’s Engineering and Emerging Technologies program. Nearly 400 students attend the program at four campuses. They use the software to design parts and assemblies, and then to run the parts on CNC machinery.
