Flow Automation Awarded Three Magna Contracts

Flow Automation, Burlington, Ontario, Canada, has received contracts from the Tesma and Intier divisions of Magna totaling $3.9 million, to supply and rebuild automation systems. Intier contracted with Flow to rebuild two automated systems that allow assembly of seat tracks. The Tesma contract includes supply of an automated system to assemble engine shafts. Atlas Engineers to Address Performance Gaps

With its new Atlas Engineers operating division, Atlas Technologies, Inc., Fenton, MI, aims to provide engineering and consulting services focused on helping its metalforming customers identify gaps in performance that affect competitiveness, and then help to correct them. The firm, which sells pressroom automation products, will now offer integrated consultation on product development and materials selection; environmental concerns; all pressroom equipment and line operation including scrap handling and press controls; and safety and ergonomic requirements.
