Illinois Fabricator Recapitalized

Pressure-vessel and heat-exchanger fabricator Kopetz Mfg., Inc., Decatur, IL, has been recapitalized by private-equity firm LMW2 Partners, LLC. Sikich Investment Banking, Chicago, IL, served as financial advisor to the owners of Kopetz, a firm founded in 1976. Its 22,000-sq.-ft. shop houses equipment for plate rolling, arc welding and metallized spraying, for fabricating vessels to 162-in. O.D. by 150-ft. long;

Yaskawa America, Inc., Motoman Robotics Division, Dayton, OH, has hired Hiroyuki Nagatsu as senior vice president, global sales team. He will serve as a board member and officer of the Motoman Robotics Division, and manage the robotics company’s relationship with its Asian-American customers;

Nesting, programming and cutting-software manufacturer SigmaTek Systems, LLC, Cincinnati, OH, appointed James Elmore southwest region sales manager. He’ll oversee customer relations in the states of AZ, CA, HI, NV and UT;

Heyco Metals, Reading, PA, promoted David Mandle to executive vice president, having previously served the company as vice president-general manager; and William Barry to vice president of sales and marketing, having previously served as director of sales and marketing. The firm produces precision rolled stainless-steel and copper coil;

Welding-equipment manufacturer Fronius USA, Portage, IN, promoted Vadim Nakonechnyy to area sales manager for the southeast region, covering the states of GA, FL, SC, NC, WV and VA. He previously worked as application engineer out of the company’s office in Chattanooga, TN. Fronius also recently added Jake Ross and David Clond to its technical support group; Edward Ford to its branch sales office in Brighton, MI; Mark Carter to its central sales team; and Lucas Barron to its branch office sales team in Chattanooga, TN;

Balluff Moves to Bigger Digs in Chicago
