TS Tech Recognizes McGregor Metalworking

Japanese-based automotive-seating manufacturer TS Tech recently recognized McGregor Metalworking Companies, Springfield, OH, at its 2011 Supplier Conference with a double award in quality and delivery. Of TS Tech’s 130 suppliers, only three earned dual awards, including McGregor. More at

Blanking Line Headed
to Minneapolis Service Center

Viking Materials, Inc., Minneapolis, MN, has ordered its second precision blanking line from Red Bud Industries, Red Bud, IL. The line will offer capacity in stainless steel to 0.250 in. thick, and aluminum and carbon steel to 0.312 in. thick. Included is Red Bud’s heavy-gauge grip-feed system to allow Viking to produce blanks with length tolerances to plus or minus 0.005 in. Also included is a high-speed hydraulic shear and three-side blank-support drop stacker with automatic part diverter. More at
