Coe to Market GSW’s Handling and Feeding Equipment

Coe Press Equipment Corp., Sterling Heights, MI, has formed a joint venture with GSW Schwabe AB, Kempen, Germany, to market, sell, manufacture and service the GSW brand of coil-handling and feeding equipment in the North American stamping market. To complement its own equipment lines, Coe has targeted specific GSW machine designs, including piloting feeder-straighteners with five to 13 straightening rolls; heavy-duty “alligator” straighteners designed for use in critical-surface applications; cradle-straightener-feeders; and heavy-duty compact lines. Software Provider Opens Office in India

Forming Technologies Inc. (FTI), Oakville, Ontario, Canada, a provider of software for design, simulation and costing of sheetmetal components, has opened a subsidiary office in Pune, India. The new office, named Forming Technologies India Pvt. Ltd., will be headed by Anand Nigudkar, who had been owner and director of Horizon Engineering Systems of Pune, a reseller of FTI products.
