Poland’s Spawmet Sp. z.o.o., a privately held manufacturer of welding electrodes, has been acquired by Lincoln Electric Holdings, Inc., Cleveland, OH. The acquisition allows Lincoln to pursue its growth strategy for the distribution markets in Eastern Europe, say its officials. Spawmet’s annual sales are near $5 million USD. Learn more at
