Robotic Press Cell in Action
Friday, April 04, 2008
Surf over to our Multimedia Center to check out the latest editorial video from the staff of
MetalForming magazine. We recently visited the Trane plant in Tyler, TX, where a brand-new robotic stamping cell turns out louvered HVAC panels from galvanized sheetmetal. The cell features a coil-fed Minster mechanical press for blanking and louvering, and a series of three Macrodyne hydraulic presses for secondary operations. Four Motoman robots move blanks around the cell and stack completed panels 75-high for removal via fork truck. Check out the video now, at

MetalForming.
